But most of the camcorders available now are MiniDV type. As mentioned earlier all camcorders feature Firewire ports in order to transfer data to computers.

After storing in the computer hard drive the users can edit the data with the relevant software. Expensive models of the product record in MPEG-4 format as digital memory. Hard disks or Memory cards are also used. Many innovative features are incorporated in the modern digital camcorders.
